The Sawasdee Cup 2025: 3rd SNC International Rhythmic Gymnastics Tournament started with Senachai Gym Club, founded by Ms. Nannicha Senachai (Kru Nong), President of Senachai Gym Club, board member of the Gymnastics Association of Thailand, an FIG-certified international judge in Rhythmic Gymnastics and Aerobic Gymnastics, and a dedicated coach who has developed numerous national team athletes for over 30 years.
The first competition took place in Pattaya in 2010, under the name “The 1st Pattaya City International Rhythmic Gymnastics Competition.” It received great support from gymnasts, coaches, and fans from both Thailand and other countries such as Malaysia, South Korea, and Hong Kong. A total of 58 athletes competed in the Pre-Junior and Junior categories, while over 20 more athletes participated in gymnastics dance performances.
Following its success, the 2nd competition was held in Bangkok in 2012, under the name “Ramkhamhaeng University International Rhythmic Gymnastics Competition 2012.”
After a long break, the competition is returning in 2025 with a new name, “SAWASDEE CUP 2025: 3rd SNC International Rhythmic Gymnastics Tournament.” Led by Ms. Nannicha Senachai and Senachai Gym Club, this tournament aims to support and develop athletes from ages 4 to 16 and above, offering a wider range of competitions in Rhythmic Gymnastics, Aerobic Gymnastics, Artistic Gymnastics, Gym Dance, and Cover Dance. The competition will be held at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC).
This event provides young gymnasts with an opportunity to showcase their talent at an international level while enhancing their skills and teamwork. It is also a valuable learning experience for coaches and judges to further develop their training and judging expertise. Most importantly, it allows parents to watch and celebrate their children’s dedication, perseverance, and accomplishments in gymnastics.
